I took my son here for breakfast and i wasn’t disappointed. I read the reviews first along with several other restaurants but decided to try Carmen’s Pancake House. Especially since my son loves grits and i wanted pancakes. The restaurant was clean and appealing. Our waitress was very friendly and polite. Everything was delicious even our orange juice. Yummy. I ordered pancakes, grits, scrambled eggs and bacon. Boy was it delicious and a generous portion. The bacon was thick and cooked just right. Even my eggs were cooked perfect. No complaints. All of our food came out hot. My son ordered grits, turkey sausages, scrambled eggs and French toast. He loved his also. My food was so delicious i almost forgot to take pictures of it before i finished it. 🤣🤣. There was parking in front of the restaurant. They also have booths as well as tables for diners. I read from the reviews that it was a little pricey but for food that’s delicious i don’t mind paying for. Some restaurants serve you bacon you can see through and pancakes too thick to eat. Not Carmen’s. I hope that they do well because based on what I experienced i definitely will be back and recommend it to my family and friends. The

We were visiting the area on a theme park road trip and decided to try Carmen’s for breakfast. The food was good and the portions were large. We had the fiesta burrito—good heat in the salsa—and the churro French toast—which was a monthly special and was served a la mode with a full-on crust of cinnamon sugar: absolutely decadent. The staff were friendly and the service was good. We will definitely be recommending this to anyone in the area.

I ordered the Greek salad with gyro meat ($22) to eat on throughout the day - my schedule is bananas today and one of those days you gotta eat when you are able. Greek salad had too much condensation at the bottom - water very visible and cucumber significantly wilted. Only two cucumbers throughout entire salad - meat is dry and hard seems old not fresh.

If you aren’t going to Carmen’s for breakfast, you are missing out! We ordered several different dishes to try and they were all delicious. All homemade! I am not really an horchata person, but their horchata is amazing! The staff was very nice. 100% recommend.

This was a fantastic experience! Our son wanted to go to a local diner. He graduated from boot camp a few days prior and wanted comfort food. He got banana Nutella crepes and biscuits and gravy. My daughter got bacon waffles, and the bacon was even added into the waffle batter. I got a meat lovers omlette and hash browns, and my husband got raspberry lemon french toast, and they use real fruit! I will definitely say if you want to eat locally, this was a good place.
